We Made It to Darwin!

From Perth to Darwin, the second half was mostly a marathon drive—but the scenery still delivered surprises! Here’s our Days 14–22 recap 👇 Day 14 | Perth → Geraldton (Pop. ~38k) 🏨 Stay: Rhodeside Lodge Lancelin Sand Dunes: Too hot/rushed for sandboarding 😅 Pinnacles Desert: Skipped (exhaustion won) Day 15 | Geraldton → Carnarvon (Pop. ~4k) 🏨 Stay: Norwesta Lifestyle Park Hutt Lagoon: The PINKEST pink lake! If you only see one, make it this one! 💖 Day 16 | Carnarvon → #Exmouth (Pop. ~2k) 🏨 Stay: Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Resort Quobba Blowholes: Epic wave sprays! 🌊🤯 Mildura Wreck Vlamingh Head Lighthouse: Windy but breathtaking 360° views! Day 17 | Exmouth → Port Hedland (Pop. ~15k) 🏨 Stay: Black Rock Tourist Park Pure survival mode. Only thought: "Just let me reach Darwin to SLEEP." 😴 Day 18 | Port Hedland → Broome (Pop. ~14k) 🏨 Stay: Broome Caravan Park Gantheaume Point: Red cliffs + turquoise ocean = 🤩 Cable Beach: Sunset perfection! 🌅✨ Day 19 | Broome → Halls Creek (Pop. ~1.3k) 🏨 Stay: Halls Creek Motel Zero stops. Just pedal-to-the-metal driving. 🚗💨 Day 20 | Halls Creek → Kununurra (Pop. ~5.5k) 🏨 Stay: Hotel Kununurra Our butts were numb, eyes glazed over... even the scenery couldn’t tempt us to snap more pics. 😂 Day 21 | Kununurra → Katherine (Pop. ~10k) 🏨 Stay: Pine Tree Motel Loved it here—especially the bacon at breakfast! 🥓➕➕ Day 22 | Katherine → #Darwin (Pop. ~150k) 🎉 WE FINALLY MADE IT TO DARWIN!!!
