Weekend Getaway in Virginia — Lake Anna 🌊

This weekend, we explored two spots at Lake Anna State Park: 1️⃣ Swim Beach at Lake Anna State Park 2️⃣ Anna Point Marina On the way there, we passed many wealthy locals towing their yachts to the marina! 🚤 Both spots offer kayak and paddleboard rentals. The swim beach has shower facilities, restrooms, and better management. There’s a gated entry to the beach area with a $10 parking fee. Lake Anna features a long water trail perfect for paddling — you can even jump in for a swim anytime! 🚣‍♂️💦 But remember to bring a life jacket! I learned this the hard way when I ventured into deep water without one and was escorted back by park rangers on a speedboat. 😅 The lake is also great for water sports like wakeboarding and water skiing.
