Weekend Stroll Through Famous Architecture | Tokorozawa Sakura Town(1)
This is my ②nd visit to the Kadokawa Musashino Museum, which was completed in April 2020, to take another look at the various functional facilities on the site. 📐 Design and Supervision: Kengo Kuma Architect & Associates Construction: Kajima Corporation Site Area: 40,210㎡ Composite Facility: Printing factory, logistics warehouse, offices, commercial facilities, lobby, hotel, museum 🌆✨ Adjacent to the East: Tokorozawa Park (approximately 20,997㎡) Adjacent to the North: East River (Class I river) Transportation: A 750-meter walk north from Tokorozawa Station, passing by the Kadokawa CRAFT Tokorozawa Bakery and Café along the way. 🪨 As you approach the site, you'll first see a massive boulder. The building stands about 40 meters tall, roughly 23 times the height of a person. 🌆✨ The main exterior material consists of 20,000 pieces of granite (7-8 cm thick) installed using the dry-hanging method. #Tokyo 🌆✨
