Wenatchee Food / Restaurant Recommended by Locals
Before arriving in the town, we had the mindset of just filling our stomachs. The elderly gentleman at the front desk recommended an Italian place called Visconti’s Italian Restaurant, saying it’s highly recommended and the ladies love it 😊. We weren’t in the mood for Italian, so we just picked a Mexican restaurant with a good Google rating, La Fuente, and discovered that often, it’s when you don’t expect much that you’re surprised with unexpected joys 🥳 The menu was a solid five pages, and we were dazzled. A couple at the next table kindly recommended a few dishes. They said they come here often, and you can’t go wrong with anything you order. True to their word, we didn’t hit any duds, and the portions were huge!! Fajitas Mixtas 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended! A sizzling platter with a mix of shrimp, fish, meat, and some mushrooms and vegetables. My favorites were the 🦐 and mushrooms; they were so aromatic with a full charcoal flavor! Carne Asada 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The beef was cooked to perfection, delicious with bean sauce and avocado sauce wrapped in a tortilla. Yum! Two dishes for two people were more than enough, offering great value for money. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Wenatchee again! The townspeople are so warm and friendly; everyone we met was helpful. The couple at the next table also recommended another restaurant called The Wild Huckleberry. We tried their Brunch and, though there was a 20-minute wait on the weekend due to the crowd, it was worth a try. #Wenatchee #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodExploration #NorthAmericaLife #TreasureRestaurantShare #FoodDiary #SeattleSurroundings #EasternWashington #RestaurantRecommendations #GlobalEatingSquad
