We decided to venture out and try The Amsterdam Bar in East Nashville, not entirely sure what to expect. Tucked away in a small building right next to a pizza joint, it’s the kind of place you might easily walk past — but that would be a huge mistake! The moment we stepped inside, it felt like we were transported to another world! This intimate cocktail lounge has such a cool, relaxed vibe. The decor pays a clever and loving tribute to one of my all-time favorite cities — Amsterdam! ♥️ The space is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with cute little couches and comfy chairs that invite you to settle in, unwind, and lose track of time while chatting with friends or a loved one over brilliantly crafted drinks. I ordered the "My Sage Again," which was incredibly refreshing — a herbaceous and citrusy masterpiece blending gin, sage, peach 🍑, and lime 🍋. It was an absolute dream in a glass! My husband went for the Amalfitano, a citrusy twist on a classic gin Old Fashioned 🥃 that was perfectly balanced. The cocktails here are... just right! We absolutely recommend this bar. The bartender was skilled and matched the bar’s chill, confident vibe perfectly. We truly wish we could remember his name, but we were so captivated by the whole experience that we didn’t chat much beyond his excellent drink recommendations. They also offer a selection of zero-proof cocktails and small bites.
