What I Ate in Paris This Week | Italian Cuisine Under a Glass Roof
1️⃣ La Fameuse Pate a La Truffe: The restaurant’s signature black truffle pasta, the sauce was truly aromatic and rich. The pasta was solid and chewy, with a slightly harder core. 2️⃣ Carpaccio di Manzo: My eyes lit up at the sight of raw beef 😬 The beef itself wasn’t outstanding, but the nuts and mushrooms used as garnish were delicious. 3️⃣ Bistecca Alla Griglia: Ordered medium rare but it seemed a bit overcooked… the steak had plenty of chew but lacked in flavor, and the herbal sauce was a bit too strong for my liking. I guess I’m just not compatible with Italian-style steak; I had a similar bad experience in Boston last time. 🍝Regarding reservations, I heard it’s very popular, so I booked a week in advance. When we arrived, there was a small queue at lunchtime on a weekday… and based on my observation, those with reservations are prioritized for the top floor, which has a great view with the glass roof, so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go. 🌟🎨The truffle pasta was amazing, while the other two dishes were just average Italian cuisine. However, the decor of this place is really beautiful, with the staircase arranged like an art gallery hhh, so it’s still worth a visit. #ParisFoodExploration #RestaurantRecommendations #ParisFood #FoodDiary #ParisTravelGuide #WhatToEatInParis #MyTasteTreasureCollection
