What I ate in two weeks in Sri Lanka

😊Although my friend told me to bring some food before I went, for someone with an extremely palate and 3/4 of whose suitcase is filled with clothes, bringing snacks is impossible. Anyway, I had high expectations for the food during the Sri Lanka trip. 🌌 The pictures 🌄only show part of the records. Generally speaking, there's a wide variety, which can satisfy different tastes. 🗾 ☀️Of course, most of them are not local Sri Lankan curries, which can only be eaten occasionally.🌦️ 🏠Hotel buffets: I tried five hotels. King's Burry has the most varieties and is highly recommended. Cinnamon Lakeside has similar varieties to Hilton, a bit fewer than King's Burry, so it ranks second, and Hilton is third.🎃 There's also Regenta Arie by the Negombo Lagoon. Its buffet is not recommended, but the hotel has a resort style with small bungalows, large spacing between houses, which is super comfortable. 🌟 👍 Recommended, much more relaxing than the tight and enclosed high-rise buildings in downtown Colombo. The only downside is that the food is not good.🏵️ 🌻I like the desserts at King's Burry and Cinnamon Lakeside. Hilton is just so-so, with better cakes than desserts. In addition, the live stir-fry at King's Burry is excellent, which must not be missed. The fried beef is incredibly delicious!🍲 🎁 Some independent restaurants: Near the entrance of the Shangri-La shopping mall building, there's an Indian restaurant called Bombay Borough. The most recommended dish here is the lamb .👍 which is very fragrant. Even more fragrant is the bread underneath. It's the most delicious bread I had in Sri Lanka—thin and crispy. It's a must-order 🌟 when you go to this restaurant! Besides, the corn grain snack is also super delicious, with pomegranate seeds as a flavor.This is also a must-order!🍱 Nikki near Colombo Museum and Gangaramaya Temple is also highly recommended! You'll definitely be satisfied if you go there! It's even more recommended for couples! It's a Greek restaurant with exquisite dishes and excellent taste. The environment and atmosphere are both up to scratch. 🌙🌙 The dessert baklava is especially recommended 🥰. If you have nothing to do in the afternoon, it's great to chat and have desserts there!
