What I Ate in Upstate New York

🍱 Kazan Sushi, Ramen & BBQ 1 Crossgates Mall Rd, Albany, NY 12203 🥰In my opinion, the Japanese food here is more authentic than the Chinese options. The noodles and sushi were delicious and generously portioned. We ordered three sushi rolls and a bowl of ramen for around $55. 🍱 Sakimura Hibachi and Asian Fusion 340 Kings Mall Ct, Kingston, NY 12401 🥰This is a fusion restaurant run by Chinese owners. The ambiance is pleasant, and they mainly serve sushi and American-style Chinese dishes. We ordered a recommended dish on a whim, and it turned out to be surprisingly good! The meal included a salad, shrimp, and delicious fried rice. Average cost per person was around $25. 🥘 Shining Rainbow 209 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206 🥰This is the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had in the U.S., and it’s also highly recommended on Xiaohongshu! They use real chili peppers instead of chili sauce 👍. We ordered Sichuan boiled fish, poached spicy pork slices, soup, and some drinks for around $120. #Food #NYCFood #Albany#NewYork#foodguide#travelguide#Albanylife#BBQ#Albanyfood
