🌟 What to Eat in & Around Boulder, Colorado! 🏔️🍴
Just got back from a tasty trip to Boulder — here’s the full food report: 🇲🇽 Cozina Fonda Fina We couldn’t snag a dinner reservation (so popular!), but we showed up right at 2 PM when they opened — and lucked into Happy Hour! 🍹 Spent around $100 for two (after tip) and left totally stuffed 😋 A fantastic fine-dining Mexican experience — every dish was a delight! We sat at the bar and loved watching the kitchen in action 👨🍳🔥 The server shared the story behind the restaurant’s name and philosophy — so thoughtful! They even helped us diversify our order, though we couldn’t resist loading up on meats and tacos 🌮❤️ 🍷 Gemini A solid tapas spot — better quality and pricing than many “trendy” Bay Area spots! We tried a white wine called Bodega Katxina — unexpectedly delicious! 🥂 🥪 Dish Gourmet The website photos set high expectations… but the food was just okay. The half-sandwich deal is reasonable, so we ordered: The Canales (on ciabatta – texture wasn’t great, chorizo was mild) Half Cuban + Half Pastrami (focaccia & wheat bread were tasty, sauces were nice!) 🏛️ The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse A must-see landmark! We tried two tea blends — pretty good 🍵 The architecture is stunning, but it was packed even on a weekday! 🍖 Smokin Dave’s (Estes Park) A BBQ joint near Rocky Mountain National Park 🏞️ Bison ribs – pretty good! Brisket – just okay Solid option for a mountain town near the park! 🎒 Perfect for food-loving travelers exploring Boulder and the Rockies! #BoulderEats #ColoradoFoodie #MexicanFineDining #TapasLove #BoulderTeahouse
