What to Eat in New York - Okatte Tanto ๐
We went to this izakaya for two weeks in a row . Their food is really delicious . We didn't go for their hotpot because none of us eat offal . The first time we went, we missed out on the tuna chu-toro ๐. You really need to let them know in advance. Today, we had an all-you-can-eat deal for $34, and there was so much meat ๐ Plus, my favorite oden was amazing, especially the daikon radish, which we ordered separately. We added beef tendon for $7, which he loved . The pork katsu sandwich was yummy at $24 ๐. The grilled fishโbranzino for $18 and mackerel with miso paste for $18โwere both great, especially the mackerel, which is my favorite . The grilled eggplant in broth was $10 . The sashimi platter for $48 was pretty good ๐ฃ. The ankimo for $20 was a special and was okay . The fried chicken for $12 wasn't great; it wasn't crispy . The pork cutlet for $12 was well-fried and stayed crispy even after 10 minutes ๐. The omlette sukiyaki for $16 was just okay ๐ณ. The three fried skewers for $18 were okay, but maybe they weren't fried as well today; they were better last week The udon in pork curry soup for $18 was good, but they only gave me one bowl without meatโthey gave all the meat to Mr. Kuang, so I had to sneak some ๐. The roast duck for $15 was probably my least favorite; I just didn't like the taste ๐ฆ. We'll definitely be back ๐. #DineWithMe#FoodieAdventures
