When I Crave Japanese Cuisine in Philly 🎎 | I Always Head to Sagami!
I basically visit this place every few days; they’ve always maintained a consistently high standard. What I love about this restaurant is that it specializes in traditional Japanese home-style cooking. The food tastes like it’s freshly made in a Japanese family kitchen—a flavor I just can’t replicate at home, no matter how hard I try. ⭐️ Agedashi Tofu and Chirashi are my must-order dishes every time! I’ve heard they’ve recently added new items to the menu, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Their à la carte sushi series is fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Salmon, eel, and scallops are always on my list. The fish is so fresh and sweet, melting in your mouth, while the eel is perfectly grilled to a crispy, caramelized finish. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the soft-shell crab. • SUKIYAKI Beef Hot Pot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This dish is super comforting, especially in winter! The broth is sweet and clear, with plenty of ingredients. The beef slices are thick and tender, and the vegetables are cooked to a perfect softness. The only dish I don't highly recommend. The fish and chicken were a bit overcooked, and the value for money isn't very high. But the soup itself is still quite sweet and clear. 📍 Sagami 37 W Crescent Blvd, Collingswood, NJ 08108 #Philadelphia #PhillyLife #PhillyEats #JapaneseCuisine #ImmersiveJapaneseFoodExperience
