🍁 Where to Enjoy Autumn in Toronto | Huntsville Fall Foliage Trip

Toronto’s fall foliage season is finally here! ✌️ I’ve put together a two-day itinerary for you (though our second day got canceled due to heavy rain 😭), but Day 1 was still packed with beautiful sights and experiences! 📍Stop 1: Huntsville Heritage Train Search: Muskoka Heritage Place ⚠️ Honest Review: It was okay, but not a must-do. You can’t book tickets online — only onsite. There were long queues, especially large family groups, which slowed things down. The train ride itself is about 30–40 minutes round trip, so the wait didn’t feel worth it for us. 💡 Tip: If you really want to ride, go early and catch the first departure! 📍Stop 2: Lions Lookout Located near the train station, this spot offers gorgeous panoramic views! 🍂 However, it was quite crowded, and the viewing platform was packed. 🚗 Parking Tip: Don’t drive up — no parking and the road gets clogged with pedestrians. Park at the lot downhill and enjoy a pleasant 10-minute walk up. 📍Stop 3: Bethune Memorial House A 35-minute drive from Huntsville. Admission is $9 per person. It’s a small but meaningful site, especially for Chinese visitors interested in learning about Dr. Norman Bethune’s inspiring legacy. 🇨🇦❤️ 📍Stop 4: Muskoka Steamship Cruise Located near the memorial, we booked a 1-hour scenic cruise — just the right length! The boat moves slowly, and even sitting outside was comfortable. 🎫 Ticket: Around $45 per person — be sure to book in advance! 📍Stop 5: Arrowhead Provincial Park We camped here overnight ⛺, but you can also book a cottage nearby and get a park permit for the next day. 🌲 Recommended spots in the park: Big Bend Lookout Stubb’s Fall Trail Sadly, heavy rain started, so we didn’t get photos here 😢 📍Stop 6: Dorset Lookout Tower A fantastic spot to enjoy breathtaking views from above! Advance tickets are required. It’s a perfect wrap for a two-day trip. Though our plans were cut short by rain, this itinerary is packed with fall beauty! 🍁 Foliage Report: Leaves are about 60–70% turned — perfect timing for Thanksgiving weekend! Don’t wait — go catch the best of the season! 🍂🚗 #TorontoFall #Huntsville #AutumnTravel #OntarioFall #MapleSeason
