Where to Go in Pittsburgh on Weekends 🌲|Discovering the Small Waterfa

Fall Run Park is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh, making it perfect for those who want to get close to nature without traveling too far. Dogs are allowed 🐶 but must be leashed. If you take your time walking and taking photos, the visit will take about an hour. The trail is reportedly newly "built," spanning 1 kilometer. The path is wide and easy to walk, with several bridges along the way. Wildflowers dot the route occasionally, and birdsong accompanies you throughout. The stream is shallow, perfect for wading. Many families come wearing flip-flops, bringing their kids along, and even walking upstream in the water. Image 6 shows someone playing with a remote-controlled off-road toy car in the water! As you approach the end of the trail, you’ll find a small waterfall over 10 meters high — Before coming to Pittsburgh, I heard from many people online that there’s nothing to do here and that it’s a food desert 😊. With a "glass half full" attitude account to explore Pittsburgh—an underrated gem of a city. Today marks my 13th day here ✨. #ConnectWithNature #MyCityDiary #WeekendsInPittsburgh #StudyAbroadLife #Pittsburgh #HikingAdventures #WaterfallsICaptured
