🌅 Who can resist Burleigh Heads anyway!!

Even though the Rainbow Bay I visited last time was so photogenic and had so few people that it’s hard to forget🥹, I still can’t get over Burleigh Heads — a beach that almost every Brisbane international student must have visited! It’s located just south of Surfers Paradise, and every weekend it’s as lively as a small carnival: the lawn is covered with picnic blankets, some people are chatting with iced beers in hand, some are rushing into the waves with surfboards, others are lying on the beach getting a good tan, dogs are chasing frisbees, and even the hills are crowded with people climbing for a better view... All kinds of cozy scenes perfectly interpret the "Australian-style weekend"🌸🌊 ⭐️ For those like me who don’t have a car, there’s no need to worry at all: take the Gold Coast train to Varsity Lakes Station, then transfer to a bus that goes straight to the beach. Now the bus fare is permanently only 0.5 AUD, which is simply a boon for international students🙂‍↕️. There are many hidden gem shops around the beach. Of course, Australians’ favorite fish & chips can’t be missed. The freshly cooked fish has a crispy outer skin, and the fries are sprinkled with salt and fragrant; the newly opened yo-chi frozen yogurt shop is extremely popular recently, almost every local is holding a cup, with colorful toppings piled up like a small mountain, sweet and sour, super refreshing😋 ⭐️ My personal recommended way to play is: detour to Miami Fish Market at before going to the beach and eat your fill of fresh seafood! The freshly opened sea urchins are sweet with the taste of seawater, the melt-in-your-mouth toro is rich in fat, the octopus salad is sour and spicy, and the salmon in the sushi rolls shines... Every dish deserves a 💯, and this place has always been at the top of my Gold Coast seafood list🥺! ⭐️ Tarte Bakery & Cafe near the beach at is also worth a special visit. Their salmon bagel🥯 is my repeat purchase — the salty aroma of smoked salmon mixed with the richness of cream cheese, and the bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside when you bite into it; there’s also Kouign Amann, with layers of pastry wrapped in caramel, sweet but not greasy, perfect with a flat white. But note that it closes at 3 pm, don’t make a wasted trip! ⭐️ Probably the reason I love Burleigh Heads the most is that it’s "lively but not crowded". The large lawn is like a soft green carpet, and even if there are many people, you can always find a corner for yourself; the sea is transparently blue, and the eucalyptus trees on the shore cast dappled shadows. The collision of the sea and the trees is like a flowing painting, which is very photogenic no matter how you take pictures💘. The one was taken when the sunset just started, and the sun dyed the sea golden, making the air warm and cozy🥹. No matter how many times I come, I still want to share this beauty with everyone💌 #Brisbane #GoldCoast #BrisbaneStudyAbroad #TodayAtTheBeach #GoldCoastSunset #GoldCoastBeach #BeachSceneryLikeAPainting #SunshineAndBeach #HalfSunshineHalfSea #GoSeeTheSeaThatHealsEverything #GoldCoastCafe
