Who could question winter with mixed noodles? 🤔

Had lunch at the company on Thursday, and it just wouldn’t cut it, so after work, I headed to Tangy Noodle, a place I’ve visited before, and discovered the restaurant has a new menu focusing on Northwestern cuisine! 👉🏻 Mixed Noodles: Matata’s pick! A very authentic taste of mixed noodles with oil-slicked meat, complete with celery, green peppers, and other vegetables. Delish! The noodles are on the thinner side and have a nice chewy texture. 👉🏻 Big Plate Chicken: A generous portion of big plate chicken, mostly boneless, making it very satisfying to eat. The potatoes and noodles inside are well-seasoned, with the potatoes having a soft texture. 👉🏻 Lamb Hand-Pulled Rice: The fragrant, perfectly cooked hand-pulled rice is a carb-loader’s dream. The rice is oily and aromatic, delicious with carrots. It also comes with a side of pickles, and the lamb portion is substantial. It would be even better with minced meat for that authentic hand-pulled rice feel. 👉🏻 Roujiamo: A super-sized roujiamo, not using the traditional white ji mo, but a more resilient bread, filled with meat stir-fried with green peppers and onions. 👉🏻 Lamb Skewers: A rarity in Manhattan, these oversized grilled skewers have a strong cumin flavor and go well with the hand-pulled rice. 🧋 Taro Milk Tea: The 30% sweetness level is quite nice, not too sweet. 🥤 Mint Lychee: A refreshing mint lychee drink, with coconut jelly added, giving it a subtle mint flavor. #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkUniversity #NewYorkFood #NewYorkShopping #plog #nyu #NewYorkWeekend #NewYorkEatsAndPlays #NewYorkFoodie #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkDaily #jersey #jerseycity #google #Manhattan #ManhattanFoodie #lic #USA #MixedNoodles #NewYorkCheckIn #Noodles #JerseyCity #Christmas
