🔥Who hasn't tried this $30-per-person gout-inducing feast?
This Portuguese restaurant, bookmarked for ages 📌, is right next to Newark Airport ✈️. Rumor has it, it's the hottest spot in Newark's Little Portugal 🔥—I've missed out several times before finally getting a table. 😅 When ordering, I saw the seafood platter was labeled for two 🦞🦐, so I thought we'd need to add more dishes. But the server advised against it, saying we'd never finish it. Turns out, the portion was easily enough for 4-6 people! 😱 The seafood tower was downright extravagant—this would easily cost $200+ on the island 💸. They weren't stingy with the ingredients, piling the seafood into a literal mountain ⛰️. Lifting the lobster revealed multiple large shrimp, scallops, and more underneath. We couldn't even finish it! 😩 The lobster was especially sweet and fresh 🍯, and the chips seemed handmade—super crispy and delicious. The accompanying seafood rice, though, was a bit too salty. 🧂 We also ordered a seafood pasta 🍝, which came with around 20 shrimp 🦐! The vodka sauce was perfectly seasoned! 👌 After seeing the crab cakes at the next table 👀, we added an order. Stuffed with shrimp and scallops, three for $18 felt pricey for this restaurant, but they were delicious! 🤤 The meal started with a huge bowl of salad 🥗 and buttery bread 🧈🍞. In the end, the four of us could only finish half before getting stuffed—we had to take the rest home. There was even a live band 🎤🎸 singing and playing right by our table—the vibe was unbeatable. No wonder it's Newark's most popular restaurant! 🎉 📍Valenca Restaurant 🚗665 Monroe Ave, Elizabeth, NJ #NYCPortugueseCuisine #NYCTravel #NewarkEats #NewarkAirportFood #NYCFood #NYCSeafood #NYCLobster #NJSeafood #JerseyCityEats #NewarkFood
