Who says British cuisine isn’t good? This place is amazing!

If you’re choosing a restaurant in London for a date Frederick’s Restaurant definitely deserves a mention The atmosphere is superb, the decor is stylish, and the plating is exquisite Perfect for a beautiful meal with your crush, full of romantic vibes that make your heart flutter 💓 Just a two-minute walk from the Angel tube station in London, you’ll arrive at Frederick’s Restaurant. I did some research on its history before going, and it turns out it’s been around for 55 years! As a family-run, old-money style British restaurant, it has been personally managed by three generations of the Segal family and has always been beloved by London locals. 🥗 Starter: My favorite is the salt and pepper squid 🦑, perfect for our Chinese palates. It’s crispy on the outside with a light batter and tenderly Q-bouncy on the inside. The pan-fried scallops are also fantastic, one of their signatures. 🥩 Main Course: The Welsh lamb chops are roasted to perfection, with a charred exterior and tender inside, paired with a mint sauce specially crafted by the chef. It completely covers the gamey taste of the lamb, leaving a refreshing flavor that makes you feel like you’re strolling across a vast grassland. The steak is cooked to a high standard, and the fries on the side are delicious 😋 🍮 Dessert: The dessert selection is very rich, with options like British passion fruit pudding, Southern French/Spanish Basque, and Italian tiramisu. Dessert lovers are in for a treat! 🍶 Wine: I tried their red wine and a Spanish fruit wine. What shocked me the most was that they actually have Moutai. That’s so ahead of the curve! #London #LondonRestaurants #MustEatList #TreasureRestaurantShare #LondonFoodExploration #DateNightRestaurant #AFeastForThePoetOfLife
