Firebird serves Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant feels like a cozy tavern, and the waitress is super friendly! It's best to book in advance, but we got lucky and walked in directly. I don't think there's a single dish that misses the mark here—highly recommended! Appetizers 🍞 We ordered focaccia, which we saw the chef baking fresh in the restaurant. The bread, soaked in olive oil, was incredibly fragrant. We finished it and ordered another round, much to the amusement of the waitress 😂 The tuna tartare had a generous portion. Once the yolk was mixed in, the texture became even smoother and more tender. The quality of the tuna was great, and the overall seasoning was very refreshing. The crab-like tapas had a salad-like flavor, also very refreshing. It was the perfect size to whet your appetite. We also had mushroom sauce puff pastries, which had an incredibly rich mushroom flavor. The sauce burst in your mouth with every bite—so delicious that we ordered another round 🍄 The cheese was amazing, paired with something sweet, like peaches (though I couldn't quite place it). It had a strong dairy flavor, giving me the feeling of eating cheese tofu. Main Courses 🍚 We ordered their signature grilled shrimp with risotto. The portion was medium-sized. The shrimp were very fresh and chewy, with a slightly charred aroma. The rice had a unique green apple seasoning, which was quite novel. The shark fin was recommended by the waitress and seemed to be a daily special. It was a delightful dish! The cartilage in the shark fin was edible and had a crispy texture. The seasoning was primarily creamy cheese, with some caviar adding a touch of saltiness. It was incredibly flavorful and delicious! We also tried the roasted chicken with pumpkin. The pumpkin was very sweet and fragrant. Since every table seemed to order the roasted chicken, we gave it a try.
