Who Understands the Joy of Carbs? 🍚|NYC's Uyghur Cuisine 🐑
After work today, I visited Caravan Uyghur Cuisine near Wall Street — and it was absolutely incredible! A must‑try for anyone craving hearty, flavorful Central Asian food. This family‑run restaurant feels simple and authentic. Service can be a bit slow when busy, but that just means everything’s made fresh — no pre‑packaged dishes here! 😄 Their Lamb Pilaf was stunning — tender lamb, fragrant rice, served with a refreshing cucumber salad 🥒 to balance the richness. The Roasted Lamb Ribs 🐑 were possibly the best I’ve had — juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned. We ordered two pounds, then added two more! Beef Stir‑Fried Noodles were amazingly savory and satisfying. Cumin Lamb Skewers came in big, generous portions — so satisfying to eat. Lamb‑Stuffed Buns had a dense, chewy wrapper packed with flavorful minced lamb. Big Plate Chicken with wide hand‑pulled noodles was another winner. Hand‑Torn Cabbage 🥬 added a nice tangy contrast to all the rich meats. Dessert was too sweet for my taste — you can skip it. This place is perfect for group meals — bold, shareable, and deeply comforting. Still under‑the‑radar, so no crazy lines yet. I’ll definitely be back! 💰 Price: Around $50 per person 📍 Address: 60 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004 #NYCFood #UyghurCuisine #CaravanNYC #LambLovers #CentralAsianFood #NYCRestaurants #WallStreetEats #ComfortFood #FamilyOwned #FoodieFind #NYCEats #EatLikeLocal #NYCLife #ShareableFeast
