WHV｜Goodbye Townsville: Every Meeting Leads to Parting

Tried to walk in to almost every café available, but they were all full. 😅 So, I changed plans and decided to move on. Before leaving Townsville, here’s a little tribute to the places I’ve been. 🏰 Iconic Townsville Clock Tower 🍻 A super popular bar, especially in the evening—packed with people, loud music, and high energy! ☀️ A scenic spot on the way to Strand Park. The sunlight was perfect, so I captured the moment. 🌇 Great view from the hostel balcony. 🌊 Strand Park – A Korean roommate from the hostel recommended it. Perfect for breezy evenings, always lively, and I even stumbled upon a music festival! 🎨 Stumbled upon this mural while trying my luck at a café. 🚢 The Magnetic Island ferry terminal ad – Saw it during an evening stroll. 🐠 An aquarium I passed by while café-hopping. 🌙 Night view outside the hostel – The moon hanging high, giving me all the homesick feels. 🐦 So many birds everywhere! ⛰️ Castle Hill lookout – Breathtaking views! Next stop: I’ve arranged a farm stay via HelpX in Julia Creek, a remote town between Townsville and Mount Isa. 🚜 Excited (and a little nervous) for my first farm experience! So far, my time in Australia has been all about city life—this will be a whole new adventure. Taking the Greyhound bus there.
