🌟 Wild Honey St James🇬🇧 London's Elegant British Style
A Michelin restaurant located inside a hotel, with luxurious decoration. Behind the restaurant is a small bar, and further back is the hotel lobby. It's a great place to walk off your meal after dining, conveniently close to Trafalgar Square. The staff is very enthusiastic, and they will ask you three times about the degree of satisfaction with each dish. Pre-meal bread It's very hard and dry, with a relatively poor texture. The butter tastes average. Appetizer, chicken liver + cheese The chicken liver pâté appetizer is very delicious, rich and mellow. the cheese appetizer is very salty, not particularly liked. Appetizer Isle of Orkney hand dived scallop, hand-roasted scallops with XO sauce and sweet wormwood wine sauce, tasty, and perfectly grilled. Crisp Sutton Hoo chicken Comes with morels, peas, potato dumplings, and cheese. The morels are fragrant, and the chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Highly recommend this appetizer. P3 Main course Loire Valley rabbit, roasted valley rabbit meat Comes with slow-cooked shoulder meat pie, the rabbit meat roll is very fragrant, and there are pine nuts inside, which enriches the taste. The shoulder meat pie also has pine nuts and beetroot. I personally don't like beetroot, and feel a mix of love and hate for this combination. Average recommendation. Cornish Monkfish, roasted anglerfish The fish meat is roasted very tender, extremely delicious, but the accompanying British leek is very unpalatable, like overcooked green onions, and there is quite a lot of it. Average recommendation. Tip: There is a lunch menu and an early dinner menu. It is recommended to dine during these times, as they are less than half the price of the regular menu, offering very good value. It also includes three courses with a choice of two for each course. The only truly impressive dish was the honey ice cream. The restaurant is worth a visit for the experience, but personally, I don't feel the urge to come back again. #MichelinRestaurantExploration #LondonLife #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodDaily
