Will This Yakitori Shop Ever Reopen? Craving That Eel Rice So Much! 🍣

🥀 This is a post filled with nostalgia. Currently, Google Map says it’s Temporarily Closed 😢 Their Unagi Hitsumabushi for Two was such a great deal! Priced around $50, it was worth every penny. Many bloggers made special trips to the Upper West Side just for this dish. 🍱 The “three ways” of eating included: mixing the rice directly with the eel, enjoying it with side dishes, and savoring it as chazuke (tea-soaked rice). The steaming hot rice, combined with the rich eel fat and savory sauce, was pure bliss! (The chicken wings were on the sweet side, which made me a little sad, sniffle.) It was so delicious that I’d want to come back even if I ended up smelling like a yakitori grill afterward! But now, if I crave eel rice again, I’ll have to head south. 📍 Yakitori Sun-Chan 2707 Broadway, New York, NY 10025 #NYC Life #NYC Foodie 🌆
