✨ Windermere - Home of Peter Rabbit 🐰
✨ Woke up early on the weekend for a two-day, one-night whirlwind tour of Windermere. As the saying goes, "Good rabbit never gives up!" ✨ The World of Beatrix Potter, commonly known as the Peter Rabbit Museum. I just walked in and bought tickets, arriving around 16:30. I managed to finish visiting just before closing time, but if you have time, it's recommended to allocate a bit more time to browse the souvenir shop (I hastily picked three bunnies under the shop assistant's prompting to close up). ✨ At the entrance, you'll wait at a green showcase with a countdown. Once the countdown ends, a door slowly opens, leading you gently into a fairytale world about a little rabbit 🐰. ✨ The story begins with a short film that briefly introduces the background of Peter Rabbit and its author, as well as a few familiar characters. After that, you officially enter the exhibition area. There are several different scenes, such as the duck mother incubating eggs and the fox 🦊 gentleman pretending to read a newspaper while actually coveting the duck eggs (quite a gentlemanly rascal... hmm...). ✨ There's a door that, when pressed, leads to the backyard garden (but it didn't seem to have many flowers, so I quickly browsed and returned to the exhibition area). ✨ You can then see the home of the little mole (super cute!), the squirrel diligently fishing, and the little mouse pitied by being wrapped up by the cats, with many small details! ✨ My favorite was the rabbit's burrow! (This place is great for photos) 🐰 Knock🎶Knock Is the little rabbit at home! The B&B I stayed at was also Peter Rabbit-themed, and the key was strikingly similar to the key to the rabbit's door. I lightly matched it with a photo. ✨ Finally, the souvenir area is also a great place to browse! Medium-sized rabbits are generally around twenty-five, larger ones are around thirty, and smaller rabbits and keychains range from about ten to twenty. There are also canvas bags, stationery, and other different souvenirs~They make great gifts! ✨ Overall, I personally feel that the ticket price is quite worth it, but this also varies from person to person~However, the photos do come out looking good! #UK #BritishLife #Windermere #WindermereLakeDistrict #PeterRabbit #WindermereLakeDistrict #PeterRabbitMerchandise #TheWorldOfPeterRabbit #UKTravel #LakeDistrictUK
