Winery Botanical Garden and Safari

During our trip to Cape Town, we also had some other itineraries. These included the famous wine estate Stellenbosch, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, and a private animal safari called Aquila. Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden🍃 In the afternoon, we visited the renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden in Cape Town.👍🏿 The garden is truly beautiful, with a wide variety of plants that are unique to Africa. One of the highlights is the aerial walkway, which offers a unique perspective on the flora. It's a great place to stroll around and enjoy the scenery. Many locals also come here to have picnics, making it a very relaxing spot.🍃 Stellenbosch Wine Estate Tour Stellenbosch is a well-known wine-producing region in South Africa. The town has a uniform white architectural style, which looks clean and elegant. 💎There are many art shops and restaurants in the town, as well as a university. 🍇Surrounding the town are vast vineyards. We visited the Graff Wine Estate. Graff is also a famous diamond tycoon, so you can see their jewelry products at the estate. We ordered a tasting package of five different types of wine and then took tour a around the estate. The Graff Wine Estate has many creative sculptures. Stellenbosch is not very large, and a half-day tour of the wine estate and the town is quite suitable.🍇 Aquila Private Game Reserve Safari🍃 During our Cape Town trip, since we didn't want to fly to Kruger just to see animals, we went to the Aquila Private Game Reserve, which is about a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Cape Town. It had been heavily promoted online, and the promotional videos looked quite good. So we decided to spend a whole day there. However, in reality, it's more like a zoo. 🍃 The experience is far from what you'd expect from a wildlife safari, and it's quite expensive. It turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our Cape Town trip. I wouldn't recommend going to Aquila specifically for a wildlife experience. If you really want to go on a safari, Kruger is still the better choice.🦁️ #CapeTown #SouthAfricaTravel
