π Winnipeg Fishing Trip Diary π£
Foodie Part: On the way to Gimli, we tried a local favorite fish & chips spot π called Kris' Fish & Chips. Their signature dish is pickerel β they also offer cod and haddock. The fries are thick and delicious β even someone like me who doesnβt usually like fries couldnβt stop eating them! π Totally different from McDonald's thin and dry fries. The fish with a squeeze of lemon and their homemade tartar sauce was incredibly flavourful πβ¨ Itβs hard to get that perfect crisp at home β and the price is totally reasonable. Highly recommend! After eating, itβs just a short drive to a great fishing spot: Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park ποΈ Perfect for introverts π β no phone signal the whole time. Extroverts might get a little bored though π I only caught one fish, but the grandpa next to me was reeling them in like every 5 minutes! ππ΄ Winnipeg in spring and summer may not be a big city, but it has its own unique charm β slow, peaceful, and full of little adventures. πΏβοΈ #FishingLife #Winnipeg #WinnipegLife #WinnipegFood #WinnipegStudent #Manitoba #SummerFishing #ExploreWinnipeg #StudentLife #CanadianLiving #FoodDiary
