Winter Philadelphia Restaurant Week Wrap-Up 🍽️

This Restaurant Week, I revisited a tried-and-true spot and tried somewhere new: Osteria and Rockwell & Rose. Osteria — I skipped their pasta this time and ordered a main dish I hadn’t tried before. 🐟 Grilled Fish – First bite was tasty, second bite was just okay, and by the third it felt too rich. The fish itself was underseasoned and didn’t balance the creamy, sweet purée. 🥩 NY Strip (Medium) – Finally, a place that actually nailed the temperature! Very tender with a tangy-sweet sauce — delicious. 🍰 Desserts – All of their Restaurant Week dessert options were quite good! Rockwell & Rose – Way more thoughtful and creative than some of those "converted bank" steakhouses downtown. Service was also noticeably better. 🧀 Ramen Burrata Appetizer – Really interesting and fun! 🥩 Steak – Well-seasoned, though cooked slightly more than I prefer. 🍋 Key Lime Pie Brûlée – Perfectly tart and delicious! 🍨 Baked Alaska – Mint ice cream + brownie inside — on the sweeter side. 🍰 S'mores Cheesecake – Decent, nothing extraordinary.
