Wood-Fired Seafood Paella Recommended by My Spanish Colleague
‼️I tried the seafood paella recommended by my Spanish colleague! The chef is Quique Dacosta, a master of Spanish paella. If you want authentic Valencian seafood paella, this is the place to go! Their rice dishes are cooked on a special charcoal stove. It’s truly the best I’ve ever tasted—I licked the plate clean again! I ordered the classic Mediterranean rice for £39 per person. It’s a huge portion! Every grain of rice is evenly coated with the sauce. Red prawns, squid, and bream are piled on top. The dish is definitely on the salty side, but it’s not overpowering—just right👌. The rice is cooked slowly, with a slightly firm texture, which is absolutely authentic. It’s really delicious. Their menu also offers many other rice dishes, like squid ink rice, crab meat rice, and pork rib rice for one person. There’s also lobster rice and premium beef rice, which I didn’t dare to order. Anyone who tries them, let me know how they are! ‼️For starters, I think 1-2 dishes are enough. The Valencian kale salad is quite interesting! The tomato jelly is very unique! There’s also stone bass ceviche, which is a refreshing and appetizing combination of seabass and potatoes. I had a mocktail called La Mujer De Rojo. It’s essentially strawberry juice, but it’s quite tasty. 📍 Arros QD 64 Eastcastle St, London W1W 8NQ #LondonLife #LondonExploration #LondonFood
