Work and See the World—Slovakia, Nitra 🇸🇰

Nitra—a small town in Slovakia, fulfilling my dream of a European idyllic village! The Nitra Region is located in the southwestern part of the Slovak Republic, covering an area of 6,343.8 square kilometers, which is 12.9% of the country's total land area. It borders Hungary to the south, Banská Bystrica Region to the east, Trenčín Region to the north, and Trnava Region to the west. Nitra is not a big city; it feels like a small town, not very bustling but serene and peaceful, making it a great place to visit and live! I blame my poor photography skills 🎬 for not capturing its beauty well, but these are all straight-out-of-the-camera shots. Through the screen, can you feel the breeze under the blue sky, accompanied by the scent of grass, occasional bird chirps, and 🐶 barks, along with people napping on benches? What a cozy and relaxed atmosphere! Even on weekdays, you can see people enjoying life here. Additionally, Slovakia is said to have a stable economy, being one of the fastest-growing economies among the 28 EU member states in the past 10 years. It has a stable political situation, low living costs, and is one of the countries with the lowest taxes in Europe. The healthcare, education, maternity, and pension benefits are also relatively comprehensive, making it one of the countries with the smallest wealth gap in Europe. The people here are very kind too. As soon as I got off the bus in the morning, a young lady noticed that I was speaking English and not a local. She kindly offered to give me directions and even called a taxi for me.
