Yashin Japanese Cuisine | South Kensington Delights
The Valentine’s Day menu is fixed with no à la carte options, It is said that it includes their signatures 😋🍽️ 🍾 Ferrari Glass: This Ferrari champagne is pretty decent 🥂 🍫 Chocolate Salmon: (Forgot to take a pic) It’s indeed a bit strange, coated with a hint of chili powder but not bad? 🤔 🍤 Prawn Popcorn: Just regular fried shrimp balls; the spicy option was quite tasty 🌶️ 🍣 Sashimi: All delicious! The one with black truffle was particularly aromatic 🍽️ 🦪 Oyster Tempura: Excellent with caviar 🥢 🍣 Sushi x3: Can’t remember the fish, but all were delicious 🍣 🐟 Cod: Sweetish, not too heavy or cloying 🐟 🍣 Tuna x3: The medium fatty tuna was delicious; the quality of the fish here is quite good 🐬 ☕️ Miso Cappuccino: The name is a bit odd, but it’s essentially miso soup in a coffee cup, with a white foam that actually resembles a cappuccino? 🍵 🥩 Wagyu Roll: Topped with a layer of cotton candy, making it sweet; not quite sure about the concept, but the taste was okay 🍖 🍡 Matcha Ice Cream + Dumplings + Red Bean: Nothing special, but the dessert was still delicious (The cat-themed paper is so cute and a bit spooky, love it! )😻🍡 In summary, it’s creative Japanese cuisine that doesn’t follow the usual path. It looks like a small portion, but after not eating all day and having this set, I was full by the time I got to the Wagyu roll 🍽️✅ 📍 Yashin Ocean House, Old Brompton Road #RecorderOfRomanticLife #LondonFood #LondonJapaneseCuisine #LondonValentinesDayRestaurant #LondonRestaurants #BritishLife #LivingInBritain #BritishFood #TravelUK #LondonLife #RestaurantRecommendations #WhatToEatInLondon
