Yay! Philly Just Got Another Beautiful & Delicious Coffee Spot 🌸
Maintaining mental health during finals includes, but is not limited to, cafe hopping! This morning I stumbled upon a new French cafe in Philly, right near Rittenhouse Square. I planned to check it out and maybe squeeze in some studying (gotta keep switching environments to stay fresh during finals 📚✨). Well… got there and it was packed — not a single seat in sight 😂. So I grabbed coffee and a financier to go. The cafe is absolutely gorgeous — every corner is delicate and charming, soft pink tones everywhere. I’m obsessed 💕🌸. I ordered the special: La Vie En Rose 🌹 The rose aroma and coffee blended beautifully — subtle syrup sweetness. Might be slightly sweet for those who don’t like sugary coffee, but on a winter day? A warm, floral, sweet coffee hit different — so cozy 🥺❤️. Finished it in under 10 minutes. I LOVED it. The raspberry financier though… a bit too sweet 😅. Decent, but not mind-blowing. Strong almond aroma but couldn’t really taste the browned butter. The cake was moist, but the outside wasn’t crispy at all. I thought the raspberry tartness would balance the sweetness — nope. It’s basically French pastry made to American sweetness standards 😂. Walked around the Rittenhouse Square market — they had freshly fried donuts being made by little kids helping out. SO cute 🥹🍩. Then swung by Vita for ice cream — living that hot-cold life 🥶🔥. They had a pear cranberry sorbet this week — sounded so intriguing I had to try it. Super tangy, not heavy at all! Also tried a sample of coconut & ground cherry, but couldn’t taste the ground cherry much so I passed. If you love tart, refreshing flavors — highly recommend the pear cranberry sorbet!! #StudyAbroadEats #HealingCafe #CafeVibes #MustVisitCafe #PhillyFood #PennStudentLife
