You’d Be Missing Out If You Ski in Salt Lake City and Don’t Eat These!
Been to SLC six or seven times — and the food scene keeps getting better! 🌟 Eva’s Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ My secret brunch spot… almost don’t want to share 😞 Croissant sandwiches are crispy and not greasy; eggs Benedict is excellent; French toast with blueberry + yogurt filling is unique. Pastries are top-notch and not too sweet. Get there early — they sell out by afternoon. Try the canelé! The White Horse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice vibe for drinks or dates — modern American with great ambiance. Takashi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh, high-quality Japanese — but be prepared to wait. Get there before 5 PM to catch the first seating. Pretty Bird ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spicy fried chicken sandwich — crispy and hot! 🥵 Try the “Hot Behind” if you dare. OMBU Hot Pot ⭐️⭐️⭐️ AYCE hot pot — good for late nights after skiing. Don’t expect mind-blowing broth — SLC hot pot is decent but not amazing. Matchstick Skewers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tasty skewers (more like fried-style), plus grilled fish and shrimp — beats many big-city Chinese spots. Chinese Taste ⭐️⭐️ Solid portions with grilled fish and buns, but fish quality can be inconsistent — sometimes great, sometimes fishy. Jang So Jang ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Korean stewed beef — reminds me of Sun Nong Dan vibes. Kou Korean BBQ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ AYCE Korean BBQ with steak, tongue, and short ribs — used to be really good, hope it’s kept up. One More Noodle ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Huge variety: trotter, intestine, brisket, lamb spine noodles/soup. Small dishes include braised items. Broth is a bit one-note though. Sugar Tiger ⭐️⭐️⭐️ For brown sugar & mochi milk tea lovers — go for it. Blue Blue ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cute shop, good fruit cheese foam drinks. Preso Tea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also in Canada — as a Cantonese, I approve of their tea base. Watermelon/strawberry slushies are 👍. #SaltLakeCityFoodGuide #SLCSkiing #SLCWhatToEat 🏔️🥘🧋
