You Must Bring Your Kids to This Hidden Gem Museum 🏛️👨👩👧👦

This museum is right next to the Salt Lake City Library. I had low expectations before going—just glanced at the website and didn’t think it would be super fun. But since ASTC members get free entry, we decided to drop by. Surprisingly, it was absolutely amazing! The museum is called The Leonardo, named after the brilliant Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci. It’s a modern museum that blends art, science, and technology in the most engaging way. 🎨🔬💡 The exhibitions span three floors: • First floor: Aviation theme, with retired fighter jets transformed into indoor playgrounds, flight simulators ✈️, and displays of airplane mechanics. My older daughter kept crashing her plane at first but gradually mastered the controls and finally landed successfully! 👍🏻 • Second floor: Art studios and mental health exhibits. The creative space is stocked with craft materials for kids to unleash their imagination—both my girls loved it! 🖍️🧩 Museum Name: The Leonardo Address: 209 E 500 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 Ticket Prices: Adults – $12 Ages 3 to 15 – $8 Under 3 – Free ASTC Members – Free Opening Hours: Tuesday–Sunday, 10 AM–7 PM Recommended Visit Duration: 2–3 hours #WeekendDestinations #TravelInspiration #MuseumWorthy #MuseumAdventure #FamilyTravel #HiddenGem #SaltLakeCity #VisitSLC #Utah #UtahRoadTrip #WeekendIdeas #KidsActivities
