You Must Visit Cairns at Least Once in Your Life 🇦🇺
Australia’s oceans are insanely beautiful! This time, I only spent three days in Cairns. The city center is tiny—you can walk through it in no time. The Night Market is a must-visit. For attractions, we only went to Green Island and Kuranda. Day 1 📌 Early Morning Flight from Sydney to Cairns Jetstar PSA: They’re super strict with baggage! We paid $47 for a 15kg checked bag. Pro tip: Bring a jacket—the plane gets freezing. Stayed at 📍Sunshine Tower—great location, just 10-15 mins walk to the Night Market and the beach. Cairns’ layout is super simple, like Xi’an—all straight roads. Day 2 📌 Boat Trip to Green Island Booked the afternoon cruise (12:30 PM departure, 1 PM boat) on GetYourGuide. Only 45 mins to the island—great for snorkeling! Warning: The moment you step off the boat… strong bird poop smell. No signal on the island, and the food is typical "Aussie white people meals." 😅 Day 3 📌 Kuranda Rainforest Day Trip Booked a guided tour on Booking.com (hotel pickup included). Took the scenic train (2 hrs), explored Kuranda for 2 hrs, then rode the Skyrail back down. Weather was bad—rainy on and off, so we didn’t do much in town. The town itself is just butterflies, crocodiles, and souvenir shops—not super exciting for me. BUT the views from the train and Skyrail were stunning. Day 4 📌 Jetstar Back to Sydney (If possible… avoid Jetstar.) Final Thoughts Cairns’ scenery is gorgeous, but it feels more like a big resort village than a city. No big malls—not ideal for shopping lovers. Weak signal almost everywhere. Still, 100% worth visiting! 💙💙 #Vacation #Cairns #CairnsTravel #TravelGuide #Relaxation #Australia #TravelAustralia
