During my two years of living in Madrid, Retiro Park has been my spiritual refuge. Every time I go shopping on Serrano, I take a stroll near the Alcalá Gate to see the people rowing boats and the street musicians playing the violin inside Retiro Park. In autumn, Retiro is painted in gold, and walking through it is pure bliss. 🍂 🔸【About Retiro Park】 Retiro Park, known as “El Parque del Buen Retiro,” was originally an exclusive park for the Spanish royal family and opened to the public in 1868. It’s located right in the heart of Madrid, next to the Prado Museum. 🔸【Travel Tips】 🔹 The Crystal Palace Built at the end of the 19th century, it was originally a place for royal family entertainment. The palace, made of iron and glass, has a fountain out front where swans glide.
