Yummy Yummy Lyon

📍 Yummy Yummy Lyon 152 Cours Lafayette, Yummy Yummy is a gem for anyone craving authentic Chinese food in Lyon. Conveniently located near Part Dieu shopping center and just a short distance from Lyon Part-Dieu train station, it’s easily accessible by bus and tram. The restaurant offers a spacious and comfortable dining area with ample seating. The menu is diverse and appealing, featuring individual hot pots, stir-fried dishes, rice noodles, and affordable lunch sets. Originally, I wanted to try the mini hot pot, but since I was dining alone, I opted for the Máoxuèwàng (a spicy Chinese blood pudding stew) instead. Priced at around €20 for a generous portion, it was absolutely worth it. I also ordered a bowl of rice for €3. The Máoxuèwàng was packed with ingredients I love: duck blood, pork intestine, tripe, luncheon meat, bean sprouts, and cabbage. As someone living in a smaller city with limited access to real Chinese food, this felt like a treat! The dish was marked with two chili peppers on the menu 🌶️🌶️, and I asked for the regular spice level. As a Shanghainese who enjoys spicy food, I found it pleasantly hot—though I could have handled even more heat. I appreciate that the kitchen is willing to adjust the spice level based on individual preferences. Overall, Yummy Yummy is a restaurant I’d happily return to—again and again. The food is flavorful, the service is attentive, and the vibe is relaxed. It’s also a great place for solo dining; I enjoyed a slow, satisfying meal all by myself—a simple but real joy 😊. Have you been here? What did you think? Any fellow spice lovers out there? 🍽️ Highlights: • Great location near public transport and shopping district • Spacious and clean interior • Diverse menu including hot pot and classic Sichuan dishes • Spice level can be customized • Generous portions and fair pricing ⭐ Rating: 8.5/10 👍 Recommended for: Solo diners, spice lovers, Chinese food enthusiasts 💰 Price range: €15-25 per person #YummyYummyLyon #ChineseFood #SpicyFood #LyonEats #SichuanCuisine #FoodReview #SoloDining #EatLikeALocal
