Used to avoid this store until the past year or so, until recently I never checked my receipt. Their problem is that they don't itemize, just has merchandise or food. Well, when I looked at my receipt there were two charges for things I didn't have and one item that I did have wasn't even charged for! I called and was informed that I would have to bring all items back to store; which is ridiculous!! I was treated rudely and the girl was extremely sarcastic. I decided to write what I had next to the appropriate charge and circle the things I did not have and also brought the tag WITH the store price on it so they could clearly see the problem. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! I was again treated rudely and told I would have to bring items back. I spent almost $80 dollars so can you imagine the hassle consideringthe amount of items I would have to haul back? Also, I don't own a car so even if I was inclined it wouldn't be convenient. My suggestion to Drug Emporium is: do what every other store does itemize your receipts with the name of the items! The moral of this story is what is going on? Prices are manually entered so think about it, are they trying to get away with extra charges knowing most people aren't going to check? Just food for thought. I will continue to shop there, BUT I will be checking my receipt...
ย ย ย Read moreI could spend a couple hours in here easy. Great place to get discounted perfume/cologne. Excellent source for vitamins, organic healthcare & things to make us beautiful. Like clean products? Try the Acadia laundry detergent. It's actually pretty darn good. I prefer Mrs Meyers (available here!) but both get the job done. Acadia brand is cheaper. I also buy my shampoo here. So many choices it'll make your clean head spin. Sulfate free shampoos are best and Drug Emporium has a wide variety to choose from. Who needs sulfates, right?!๐ Essential oils are plentiful. Almost an entire aisle dedicated to oils! If you're new to EO's & not sure what you're doing and what to blend, ask the knowledgeable sales staff. They're quite helpful and actually know things. I'm serious. Once you ask you'll almost regret it. They know that much!๐ต On a health food kick or have food allergies? Drug Emporium caters to your every whim. Well, almost. Can I just end this and round this little number off by saying...Drug Emporium is a great place to kill lotsa time and buy things ya didn't even know ya wanted. Or needed. But you do! Go already. You'll probably...
ย ย ย Read moreI went to Drug Emporium along with my sister to purchase perfume. The caucasian girl working at the counter never smiled, she was very dry and unhelpful. Whenever we asked her a question she was dismissive or acted as if she didn't know what we were asking her. Her demeanor left us with the impression that we were bothering her. We were the only customers in that section at the time. She is impatient, and shouldn't be assisting customers, especially in a time consuming area like perfume. This is where customers take their time to smell different scents in order to determine what they like. I didn't get the girl's name but I do remember her from the last time we visited Drug Emporium to purchase perfume. She was just as rude and unhelpful. She kept looking around, then a young woman came to the counter to work. The rude girl took off very quickly, like she couldn't wait to get out of there. The young woman was extremely helpful, patient and friendly. She gave us a wonderful experience. There was also another young woman working at the counter with an injury. She was very kind, even though she did not wait on us. She smiled...
