Yunnan Rice Noodles in St. Louis: A Warm Surprise Far from Home
When I first arrived in St. Louis, my roommate excitedly recommended a newly opened Yunnan rice noodle shop. She said it was packed with customers on its opening day and had been eager to try it. So the next day, we went together to taste this long-anticipated food. After entering, we ordered the classic Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. For $18, it included meat dishes and a separate plate of vegetables—a very reasonable price! 😊 The broth came in various flavors, and we chose a light one, which was delicious and fragrant. The rice noodles were smooth and tender, with rich toppings, each bite satisfying. 💖 We also tried the Nanchang Mixed Rice Noodles in mild spicy flavor. Although neither my roommate nor I eat much spicy food, this level of spiciness was just right—gentle and aromatic, and we enjoyed it very much! 🌶️ During the meal, we heard the owner chatting warmly with some Taiwanese customers and learned that he is from Fuzhou. His smile was so kind, making us feel as comfortable as eating at home. 👨🍳 Although the shop hasn’t been open for long, it already has a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience. 🍜 The food was delicious, the price was fair, and the service was thoughtful. If you’re in St. Louis, come and give it a try! 👍 #YunnanRiceNoodles #StLouisFood #CrossBridgeNoodles #NanchangMixedNoodles #FoodDiary #InternationalRestaurant #CozyFlavors
