Yuzu Dining Izakaya in The Hague - A Cozy Spot for Drinks! 🍶✨
Yuzu Dining is located on the way from The Hague HS to the city center, right across from Wei Wei restaurant (heard they’ve opened a branch in Amsterdam!). I’ve been twice now, and nearly every dish has been a hit. This place has an izakaya vibe—small portions, but everything is crafted with care, featuring fresh ingredients and unique preparation. I’ve tried most of the menu, and nothing has disappointed. Very satisfying! 🥰 Iceberg lettuce. Just regular lettuce. Boneless chicken wings. Pretty good—deboned, tender, and soft in every bite. Raw sliced Hamachi. Highly recommended—super fresh and tender! 🐟💯 Hamachi kama shioyaki (grilled fish collar). Limited availability, priced by weight. The portion in the picture was around €50. Gyoza. Soft and tender but pretty standard—wouldn’t particularly recommend. Lamb. Sliced, smoked, and drizzled with sauce, paired with grilled lily bulbs—a surprising and delightful take on lamb! Highly recommended. 🐑👏 Egg-covered rice. Rich in flavor with a burst of roe; highly recommended! Tai yubiki sashimi. A must-order every time! Love the crispy chicken skin garnish, which I initially thought was a rice cracker. They have plenty of cocktails. I tried the yuzu and umeshu series, but honestly, Yoshi Bento’s cocktails are better. If you’re into yuzu flavors without the strong, bitter taste of spirits, try the Yuzu Fizz. 🍸 It’s a bit pricey—around €40-€50 per person with food and drinks for two. I’ve heard their new branch in Amsterdam focuses on skewers instead of à la carte, so let me know if you try it! #NetherlandsEats #DutchFoodSpots #IzakayaVibes #NetherlandsLife
