🌅6-8 pm today: I rolled into Phoenix City (the Cantonese one) and met my newest dynamic duo—Mr. & Mrs. Power-Couple—for their very first tennis lesson. Plot twist: the hotel courts were booked solid, so we pivoted to the indoor space next to La Mu Plaza. Walk in… boom—shared with a basketball game 🏀🤣. No sweat, we claimed our rectangle and the vibe stayed hotter than the outdoor temps. Two hours = crash-course buffet: 1️⃣ Semi-Western grip mastery ✔️ 2️⃣ Clean take-back & follow-through ✔️ 3️⃣ Feed-ball rallies that actually stayed on the strings (most of the time 😂). L-dude showed late-hour rhythm—wrist loose, eyes locked, potential stock rising faster than a Tencent chart 📈💕. Madam L tasted a taste of baseline-to-baseline thunder—yes, that’s how fast real tennis feels, welcome to the pain-joy club 🌸🎾. Next class = intensity upgrade. Kindly Coach Wang signs off, Drill-Sergeant Wang clocks in. Bring water, courage, and maybe a helmet (kidding… sort of) 😈.
