Review for concert experience- love attending Dbacks games here, but the two worst concert-attending experiences I have ever had have been at Chase.

Logistically I see the venue as challenged, because 90% of the fans are trying to get in at the same time in the same place.

Last night there was no organization for getting in and out, and totally unclear direction. There was one sign saying there was a specific location for floor wristbands, but the part that said where to find it was unable to be seen because 45000 other people were trying to get in also.

I waited in one line for at least 40 minutes, went through metal detectors and everything only to be refused entry and told to go to the floor entry line. Where is that line? "Out there." How was I supposed to know? "It was on the Know Before you go email." When I asked where this line was they responded "Out there." Thanks for the help, really.

I was hardly the only person confused - that line stretched from the front of the Sportsbook out to where everyone enters at Jefferson, around two merch booths and halfway down 4th Street.

Oh, and by the way, the one other time I attended a concert at Chase the floor wristbands were inside the main gate, which is why I went there first. That show was almost as bad, but moreso after the show than before. I entered through the main gate for that show too, but when the show was over walked back that way, only to be redirected to the opposite side of the building from where we parked.

If I were trying to manage the flow, I would put up big signs right at the corner of Jefferson and 4th - I would have all the floor people enter on the north side of the main gate, and would separate the queues for 100 / 200 / 300 seats as well. If Chase wants to improve they are welcome to message me for my input LOL. For now, my review of Chase Field as a concert venue is a firm Do Not Recommend.
