🚂 Zurich Art Gallery 🎨

Recommended Route: Take a train 🚉 from St.Gallen station, and in about an hour, you'll arrive at Zürich HB station. After exiting the station, it's a pleasant 15-minute walk to the art gallery. 🌤️ Along the way, you'll catch glimpses of Lake Zurich, home to adorable 🦆 ducks and 🦢 swans. The view would be even more stunning if it weren't cloudy. For those planning to admire the lake, feed the swans 🦢, and take photos, it's advisable to check the weather forecast in advance and bring some bread (for the swans) before setting out. 🎫 Tickets: You can purchase tickets online by searching for Zurich Art Gallery on Google and following the link. Adult tickets are 24 CHF (you'll need to exchange them for stickers at the gallery's front desk). ⏰ Closing Time: The gallery closes at 6 PM. With the sticker, you can visit both the old and new buildings. 🌟 Pro Tip: Admission is free on Wednesdays! The gallery consists of two buildings, old and new. Bags, drinks, and food must be stored in lockers in the basement before you start your visit. Suggested Visiting Route 🗺️: After storing your belongings, begin your tour at the first exhibition hall to the right of the counter, moving up floor by floor. After finishing the third floor, take the elevator to the basement and then walk through the long corridor to the new building. Each floor is accessible by elevator or stairs. ❗️ For those interested only in Van Gogh and Monet's works, take the elevator directly to the top floors of both the old and new buildings. The old building houses a few Van Gogh and Monet pieces. ❗️ The Water Lilies and other paintings are located in the new building. 🌟 Total visiting time for both buildings is about four hours. It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes 👟 and allocate enough time. #Switzerland #Zurich #Europe #VanGogh #Monet #ArtExhibition #WaterLilies
