Grace Lake Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Minnesota

Walked in and sat down as one would do. Was greeted by a very rude women who treated us like we were stupid. We asked for drinks (which she was also very rude about). My gf asked for a Shirley temple, and was told “no, you’re too old for one” which was unnecessary. She then brought her one and proceeded to raise her voice and say “don’t leave those cherry stems on the ground” which wasn’t planned nor did it happen. She then brought the rest of us our drinks. When it came to ordering, she made us order by our drink names, which was confusing. And when my gf asks her “what” she raises her voice at my gf and tells her to “order!” which startled my gf and caused her to want me to order first. So I order a California burger and she orders Mac and cheese wedges, mind you we are with friends and they noticed the attitude and rudeness also. Once we were done we cleaned up the whole table for the staff and made it super easy for a full cleanup, even though we were treated poorly. Against our better judgment we left a tip on table and went up to pay. Me and my buddy paid separately. Since a tip was left on table neither me, nor my buddy left a tip on our cards. And as I signed my receipt the lady says “wow thanks guys!” And as I walked out she said something along the lines of “they didn’t tip at all.” And a dude speaks up and says “wow, do I work here yet” like he wanted to say something. Came in on a Monday early evening in July, about 15 people in the bar, 2 people working behind the bar and they were working the tables too. I sat at the bar and was ignored for quite a while, finally got beer and menu. Ordered wings and waffle fries. Drank my beer and waited, empty beer for more than 10 minutes. Finally was asked if I wanted another. Wings came out and were set in front of me and walked away, no waffle fries. Didn't even have a chance to ask. Ate all my wings, was out of beer... Set my card out, at this point I just wanted to leave. Bartender washed tables, chatted with locals they knew and ignored me. Finally got my tab, not itemized, I didn't know if I got charged for my fries or not, but the bartender was too busy to be bothered. I can honestly say this time was the worse experience. The bar was packed when we went in. We sat at a table for a while and neither one of the service came to help. The guys had to go up to the bar to order drinks and food. The one lady said it was her first time working and they only had one of the service staffed with a pack bar. it was Labor Day weekend so you would have thought they would have had more than two servers working. The first time we had bad service here otherwise normally pretty well.

They have volleyball in the back also to pool tables and two dart boards. Not a huge selection of beer but a good selection. A good size menu with options of appetizers Burger wraps Etc. Also have all sale to choose from. The bar is located right off of Highway 2 with...
