I used to come here often about four years ago and it was great. Good food, good quality, and good service. Last year I came for a birthday and it was awful. Rude waiters, bad food, and overpriced. Since they were busy and I had good experiences in the past, I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Last week I visited for lunch and it will be my last time. The food was awful. The service was rude. The overall quality was very disappointing. The green salad was not fresh. The olives were old and inedible. The meat soup tasted and smelled awful, almost rotten. They brought warm water on a hot day, and when I asked to return it, the waiter rolled his eyes. They also did not have ice.

We had grilled chicken with garnish and grilled Ohrid trout (koran) with garnish. Both were big portions and delicious. However, when they brought the food, they served the chicken first and then brought the fish seven minutes later. This was confusing .... However, the fish portion seemed incomplete - half fish. When I asked the waiter, who didn’t speak English well, he tried to explain that the portion size was 300 grams. In the end, they brought us jufke, a very sweet dessert from the house. Had to check out this place with 5 starts! And happy to join in the club. What a great place! We stopped for lunch after passing the border. The waiter was very nice. We ordered to mixed salads plate, local fish and the bread dish we saw on the pictures. The bread with filling was made in the wood oven before our eyes! It was a huge dish but we took the leftovers with us and kept enjoying them 2 days later. You can sit out back near a little stream. Beautiful....
