Skanderbeg Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Bashkia Sarandë

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere are spectacular! My friends and I came here 4 times during our stay in Sarandë and enjoyed each visit.

The sautéed mussels were very fresh, and the broth was yummy. It was a large portion size for a good price. You cannot go wrong with any of the fish dishes! The toasted bread is also a star. There are vegetarian dishes, and they even made a pasta with vegetables that was not on the menu for me. Every piece of food and sauce was devoured by the end of the meal!

We had the same server each time, and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The dining experience was truly elevated due to his wonderful service.

The atmosphere is also lively, with soccer(football) games on a big screen and nice music played through speakers at an enjoyable volume. There is an outside area with string lights under a straw tent, as well as an inside area. There is a fan that they can turn on if requested. There is also an orange cat and black dog that are around and so cute!

It is always very clean. They also accept credit card, which is very convenient.

Another amazing restaurant nestled in the heart of saranda in the local neighborhood of Kodra. The restaurant has a unique street level dining area and hidden downstairs that gives you a rustic intimate courtyard style feel. The food is just astonishing. I highly recommend the chaufte (and Albanian style meatball), the chicken salad (which is the best I've had in a very long time) and the chicken filets. And ask for the korca beer on draft. Ordered lamb chops and tuna steak. Lamb chops were sprinkled with 1kg salt and the tuna steak was overcooked. The potatoes that came with each dish were stone cold. After notifying the waiter about the disappointing food we were just ignored until we asked for the bill.
