Taverna e Miqësisë — Restaurant in Bashkia Vlorë

Driving in the outskirts of Vlore toward the Laguna of Narte we decided to stop at this restaurant called Taverna e Miqesise Where to start….. This place is wonderful, a truly hidden gem. The different fresh seafood dishes blended so well with the wonderful red and white wine it was amazing. The aroma of roasted lamb coming from the kitchen makes you wanting to order even the kitchen sink. The prices were very reasonable and the menu well presented. The place was packed but to my surprise the service was amazing especially for Albanian standards. The chef even had time to greed us and explain how they bring fresh seafood of the boat everyday. Then the head chef and the owner the man of the house Arsen came to our table to say hi. After talking to him no wonder the place is so good. The guy is full of life and ideas.
