Hotel & Restaurant Grand White City Berat Albania — Restaurant in Berat Municipality

My experience here hasn’t been the greatest, I have only tried the bar, and I need to say I am not satisfied. I have no clue how they behave with tourists, but the staff needs to be a little bit nicer with the locals/Albanians. If there is no menu, and no information available on the snacks/breakfast/ items they offer, it is pretty normal for customers to ask questions, at least it’s normal everywhere else😅. If they don’t like questions, they can offer menus, put out those QR codes, in order for customers to find the information they need.

The room is clean and has the standard equipment. But there is only one small trash bin in the bathroom. The breakfast was kinda bad. The food was always cold. Everything presented unhygienic and kinda dirty most of the time. The waiters didn't refill the dishes and food. They were always waiting just to take away your plate and standing around. Kinda annoying if you want to enjoy your breakfast in peace... There was only one woman at the reception who showed interest and was nice. This hotel is a barn of a place. Everything is large. Nice large room with equally large bathroom. TV, Wi-Fi and fridge all good but no tea/coffee. Hotel is a drive away from Berat and on a very busy road. Many of the staff do not speak English. In our room we had a fridge and in it were 2 bottles of water.
