Fisherman's Island — Restaurant in Lezhë Municipality

WOW!! Why no-one is talking more about this restaurant?! This was one of, if not the best ever experience of dining. One of them times when you are left speechless. One of the friendliest and polite owners that I ever came across. By the time we finished dinner, owners hospitality made you feel like going to your best friend house for meal. We had 2 soups, 1 large salad to share , 1 portion of corn beard and 1 portion mixture of scampi and prawns to start with, followed by 2 portion of eels, 2 portion of fish and 2 portion of pasta. All this was accompanied by 2 bottles of Korca beer and 1/2 litre of white wine. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!! Everything was fresh and sauces and batter was made from scratch. Before we could ask for dessert menu, dessert was on the table; rice pudding and “revani”, both of them homemade, followed by plate of fruits all complimentary from te restaurant owner. Lady owner offered us a second plates od desserts, complimentary of course, and since I have a sweet tooth, I could not turn down her offer. Yes, I had another portion of rice pudding. A friend from the island of Lezhë recommended this place, promising fresh, wild-caught seafood. And what a recommendation it was! When we arrived, there was no menu—a great sign. Our host, Ela the owner, explained that they only serve what the fishermen bring in that day, ensuring everything is as fresh as possible. We were lucky enough to try the tender octopus and a magnificent wild seabream. The meal was incredible, from the delicious homemade cornbread to the rich olive oil, fresh salad, and local goat cheese. Ela's warmth and hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable. She shared stories about life on the island and the challenges of being a female business owner in Albania. It was a privilege to hear her perspective and feel her passion. Delicious simple food made with the freshest ingredients.

We had some lemon garlic marinated grilled fish and grilled octopus. Very tasty! We devoured everything. The food was served with fresh salad and homemade fries that just made our day. This restaurant is family owned and operated. The owner is so cute and generous with the portions.

P.s: At the beginning we thought the restaurant was closed as it was empty and was about to leave, but thank god we didn’t! so if you get there, just walk in and sit on the table! within few minutes the owner will arrive...
