Restaurante A FABRICA — Restaurant in Luanda Province

We went there on the day A Fábrica celebrated their 1st anniversary. Restaurant was pretty empty, with some staff prepping for their event. Only two other tables were occupied besides ours. Our waitress was Madalena and she was an absolute delight!

Food arrived fast (most likely due to empty restaurant) We ordered Surf and a Turf options, it was our first time there and we wanted to explore the menu. Food was well prepared but the Picanha was extremely chewy. Fish steak was well cooked, very tasty. Would be my first pick off their menu everytime.

We ordered red berries champagne sangria, they sent sangria with apples and oranges, ultimate cocktail faux pas! For dessert we ordered petit gâteux, apple pie and tiramisu. The apple pie was delicious, petit gâteux standard and the tiramisu lacked that mocha punch and creaminess.

The restaurant has good content potential. The lighting, the decor and art pieces make for interesting posts. Bathroom was clean and the industrial elements make for an ideal bathroom selfie zone.

Overall good experience, positive points to the food, Madalena’s excellent service and overall aesthetics of the place. Points lost for rudeness and blatant disregard of spanish speaking...

It was good, a very nice place to go in Luanda looks like everyone goes there because of the music, it’s amazing, I got to enjoy the music was great, they have this area outside where it turns to a lounge that side it’s a 5 star area, the concept it’s nice, I love it;

Now the service gave me mix signals, sense that everyone was synchronized, the open the door for you, the still serve food until 11:30PM which most of restaurants don’t do, they close around 1am which is great, but the food takes too long to be served and in my personal opinion it was seasoned well, I had to add salt, my particular server was good but she rushed me to order when I could do it in my own time, she done the same thing for it came for the billing time;

In conclusion it’s a great place with great service, if you single it’s nice to go with a group of friends...

Highly surprised at how anyone would give this restaurant a 5 star ..🫣..that’s an absolute joke to me ..food is simply average and pretty basic ..the decor is beautiful to look at and the reception pretty damn arrogant..and the worse part of it all ,This is one of the most racist places in Luanda ..They may let you in if you have a reservation for the restaurant,but do not try go there for a drink if you consider yourself a typical black African woman ..cause they simply won’t let you in cause of your skin...
