Since moving to Antigua, Gather Steak House has become my go-to place for an exceptional dinner experience. This restaurant stands out not only for the premium quality of its ingredients and the creativity behind every dish, but also for its true steakhouse atmosphere—warm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home.

From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the charming manager, who ensures your visit starts on the right note. The service is impeccable, with every detail taken care of. A special shoutout to JR, our go-to server, who consistently goes above and beyond to enhance our dining experience. His attention to detail, excellent recommendations, and genuine hospitality make every meal unforgettable.

When it comes to the food, everything on the menu is outstanding, but there are some must-try dishes that I always order: 🔥 The spinach dip with pull-apart bread – an absolute flavor explosion! 🌶️ The jalapeño poppers – a must-have for spice lovers. 🥩 The steaks – the best cuts of meat you’ll find on the island. 🍰 The desserts – huge, delicious, and perfect for sharing.

The best part of my experience was the staff. They were friendly and professional. Definitely 5 star service.

However, points are lost on two counts; the décor and the high amount of salt used in the food.

I was seated on the verandah that you'd enter from. The table was bare (no place setting, no place mats, no center piece, no salt and pepper). Having to use paper napkins was disappointing. And there nothing to say "steakhouse"; bull horns, cowboy hats, photos of farm life hung around the restaurant; at least none that I saw. Maybe there were on the interior. The aprons worn by wait staff was a nice touch.

I had the marinated tuna salad to start and that was delicious; well balanced. For my main, I had the 12 oz. boneless ribeye with the poached lobster, loaded baked potato and the broccolini. Though I wanted to love everything, it was all just a bit too salty, especially the steak and broccolini. The option of having all three sauces for the steak is definitely a plus though.

Would I go back? Most definitely! There are a lot more cuts of steak to try. I just will make sure to ask for them to hold the salt when...

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special. The seating was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the table settings made everything feel just right. The lighting was peaceful, setting the perfect mood for a great meal.

The staff? Absolutely top-notch! Everyone was upbeat, welcoming, and knew the menu inside and out. JR was phenomenal—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Wow. Just wow. Everything was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, medium rare, and it was a dream. JR even brought over a selection of knives for me to choose from to cut my steak—never had that experience before, and I loved it! My girlfriend had the steak salad, and she ate every bite—which, trust me, never happens!
