Great local dining experience in January 2025. Friendly people, excellent home cooking, and a nice view from the upstairs dining area if you get there before dark. Go for the baked chicken. One word of warning - they're not a high-volume, open-late sort of place. We arrived at 6 pm with a party of eight. The kitchen was open, but the dining area lights were out. They turned them back on for us, but only had four orders of the baked chicken dinner left. So each of our couples had to share one baked chicken and one fried chicken and chips dinner (which was fine but not as special as the baked chicken)...
